The Rebels JV squared off against Broome last night in the first true road contest of the regular season. The Rebels allowed one run in the first but opened up the offense in the second. Preston Bookman led the Rebels offense with two hits and two RBI’s while both Jerran Long and Al Farmer were also able to get two hits a piece. The Rebels were boosted on the mound with a strong performance by Hayes Waites, who threw four innings and struck out 8. Darian Bookman came in late to shut down the Broome offense on the mound. The Rebels were able to stay perfect in the field with no errors and beat Broome 6-2
