Rebels improve to 4-0!

On Tuesday MC defeated Union County 6-2.  Goals: Jerry Ezesarte 3, Noe Hernandez 1, Miguel Gonzalez 1, Cristian Benitez 1.  Jesus Reyes and Cristian Benitez had 2 assists each. Varsity Cheerleaders Support Chapin Lacrosse Player

The MC Varsity Cheerleaders showed their support for a Jack Enright, a Chapin High School Lacrosse player who suffered a spinal injury during a game.  The cheerleaders made a large card signed by everyone and several small cards for Jack.  Coach Sherry delivered the cards to Jack’s dad.  

Varsity Softball Game Rescheduled

The Mid-Carolina varsity softball game at Chapin last night was postponed due to weather.  The game has been rescheduled for Monday, April 13th at 6 pm at Chapin High School.

Directions to Pelion’s Softball Field

The Mid-Carolina junior varsity and varsity softball teams will travel to Pelion High School this evening for the start of region play.  Pelion’s softball field is not located at Pelion High School.  The softball field is located on 955 Mulberry Street, Pelion, South Carolina. If you are traveling on US-178 East you will turn right

Rebels Pound Clinton

The Mid-Carolina Varsity boys soccer team defeated Clinton on March 4, 6-2. Jerry Ezesarte lead the Rebels with 3 goals and an assist. Jesus Reyes scored two goals and had an assist. Cristian Benitez scored one goal and had two assists. They host Union County tonight at 7PM.

Softball Scrimmages Canceled

The junior varsity and varsity softball scrimmages at Whitmire scheduled for Thursday, March 5th have been canceled due to field conditions.  Junior varsity softball players will have practice today at 3:30 pm at the middle school gym.  Varsity softball players will have practice today at the batting cages at 3:30 pm.

Rebels beat White Knoll in opener

The Mid Carolina Rebels defeated White Knoll 3 – 2 at the Red Bank Invitational. Trey Huber (1-0) picked up the win for the Rebels. Rhett Frazier picked up his first save of the season. Brock Bryant was 2 for 3 to lead the Rebels at the plate. Ryan Stoudemire and Corey Stone had one

Rebels Soccer open season with a win

The varsity boys soccer team started their season in fine fashion last night, defeating Chester 7-1. Jerry Ezesarte lead the Rebels with three goals. Jesus Reyes scored two while Cristian Benitez and Miguel Gonzalez-Reyes  scored one each. The Rebels return to action on Wednesday. They will host Clinton at 6PM.

JV Softball Game Added

The junior varsity softball team has added a home game to their schedule. The JV softball team will play Columbia High School at home on March 17, 2015 beginning at 5:00.
