Multiple Teams · Rebels come up a little short at Chesnee.

On Saturday night the Rebels season came to an end as they lost their second round playoff game to the Chesnee Eagles by a score of 77-69. It was a tale of two halves, as defense dominated the first half. The two teams battled back and forth before Chesnee went into the half with a 31-22 lead. The second half was an offensive explosion by both teams, lead by their respective All State players. The Eagles were lead by the AA State Player of the Year, Deion Holmes as the Rebels were lead by All State performer, Zach Parker. Holmes scored 30 of his game high 44 points, and Parker scored 23 of his 33 points in the second half. During the second half the Rebels made several runs to close the gap, but Chesnee answered each with a run of their own. In the final quarter the Eagles were able to convert on 10 of 17 free throw attempts which helped seal the game for them.

Scoring for the Rebels were Zach Parker (33 points), Danton Hyman (15 points), Zy Hiller (6 points), Jhi Wright (5 points), Isiah Williams (4 points),  Cade Ruff (4 points), and Dante Boyd (2 points).

The Rebels finished the season with a final record of 16-10.
