The JV Girls Basketball Team traveled to Chapin Thursday night and beat their 5A rivals 22-12. Scoring for the Rebels were: Haylee Gunter – 12 Josie Shepherd – 7 Brayden Brooks – 3 These girls finish their season 6-2 with three wins over 5A schools and wins over both rivals, Newberry and Chapin.
The varsity boys basketball team picked up another region win over Lower Richland on Saturday at home on senior day! Sparked by Emanuel Castro’s hot shooting in the first quarter, the Rebels got out to a big lead and never looked back. Overall the Rebels were 15 for 23 from downtown, leading to a 80-52
